Police, South Kalimantan, captured five robbers five hours after they robbed
two branch offices of Pegadaian and a pharmacy owned by Kimia Farma.
Chief of Banjarbaru Resort Police AKBP Riko Sunarko said on
Thursday that the five suspect robbers are interprovincial syndicate
successfully secured in an Inn on Jalan Angkasa, Syamsudin Noor Village,
Banjarbaru, around 10:00 am.
"Five suspects identified as FT, SA, MB, RD and IW
carried out the action Thursday morning at two Pegadaian (state owned pawnshop)
offices and a Kimia Farma pharmacy, but five hours later police successfully
arrested them at an inn in the village Syamsudin Noor," police chief told
reporters.
He said the five suspects are specialist office breaker
derived from Gresik District, East Java, precisely from the village of Sedayu
and carry out their action by visiting cities almost all of Indonesia.
Officer forced to immobilize suspects with shots in the foot
for resisting when arrest, but gunshot wounds have been treated and given care
in hospitals Banjarbaru before they were thrown into a holding cell of
Banjarbaru Police Headquaters.
