Police cooperated with Banjarbaru Police nabbed two motorcycle thiefs acts in
South Kalimantan. One of whom was forced to be shot for trying to fight the
officers.
Acting Head Motor Vehicle Unit of the Banjarmasin Police,
Ipda Abdullah, SH here on Friday said that the arrest of the two motorcycle
theft (known as curanmor) actors performed in a combined operation.
Both perpetrators were arrested while conducting
transactions with consumers who want to buy a stolen motor vehicle in Sungai
Lulut, Banjar District, Thursday (27/3) afternoon at around 18:00.
The two are curanmor recidivist. One of them, Safrudin aka
Udin Pongong (30), a resident of Karang Intan, Banjar District, shot in the leg
for trying to fight and want to escape.
While Muhrani (18), other perpetrator, was silent and did
not fight after knowing his friend paralyzed by gunfire while trying to fight
the officer.
Udin Pongong immediately rushed to the South Kalimantan
Regional Police Hospitals Hoegeng Imam Santoso to get medical handler to let
the bullet out of his leg.
"They had been nabbed, and one offender was shot, but
because of the police report made by the victim at the Banjarbaru police
station, then we proceed to Banjarbaru for handling the case," said the
bespectacled man.
In addition to capturing the two actors, the police also
secured the evidence of their crimes among are the T key, blade length of 10 cm
and a motorcycle allegedly as a result of their crimes.
The results of the police interrogation, Udin and Muhrani
had six action of two-wheeled motor vehicle theft in the jurisdiction of
Banjarbaru Police, so the case submitted to it to be followed-up.
